Given the fact that many of us are fashion monkeys; who just copy what the King and Queen Slayers choose to do, they have decided to alter the status quo. Celebrated music diva, and fashion lover, Leila Kayondo decided to do the unthinkable.
Leila, who was born a couple of decades ago on 1st January, decided to party for this whole month to celebrate how far Allah has brought her – I guess because girls of her kind are not affected by January brokenness.
From the glamorous bash she had; made sleek by Zena Kirema’s magical cake, Hatmah Naluggwa Sekaaya’s sumptuous food and of course her pseudo-boyfriend Geosteady Blackman’s warm presence; to unending sequels all-over Kampala outing spots, SK Mbuga’s former side-dish seems to be having the time of her life.
In all that glam, she however forgot the most basic rule of parties: follow the dress code! The theme of her most recent party was all-black, but she popped up in a dress filled with all the colours of a rainbow, leaving her friends wondering what had happened to their usually fashionable friend.
Well, perhaps that’s a new fashion trend. I won’t come jump into conclusions like a Boda Guy on the pavements of Kampala streets, because well… what do I know?
