The State has sensationally withdrawn charges against Bobi Wine.

Bobi Wine was arrested in Arua with Kasiano Wadri, Paul Mwiru, Gerald Karuhanga and Francis Zaake and several others following the shattering of President Yoweri Museveni’s car and killing of Yasin Kawuma (Bobi Wine’s driver).

Army General Court Martial Chief Gen. Guti who drove into Gulu this morning, moved the highly charged court room when he read the charges and then relieved Bobi Wine of charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition against at the General Court Martial in Gulu.

Gen. Guti only allowed three relatives of Bobi Wine, his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi, three lawyers and media accredited by Gulu Barracks.

The Military Court Martial chief blocked Gen Mugisha Muntu, former leader of opposition Winnie Kiiza and several other politicians, relatives and friends to the Kyadondo East legislator.
