Government has stood its ground on European Union allegations of torture and abuse of human rights and vowed not to be bullied in the ongoing stand off following arrests of Bobi and 34 other people after the chaotic elections in Arua.
European Parliament last week sat and came up with a resolution to push for different voices in Ugandan politics to be heard and respect of human rights.
Government responded in a strong statement to local and international media voiced through spokesman Ofwono Opondo at the Media Centre in Kampala on Monday.
Ofwono Opondo roared: “European Union is not ashamed to raise on record that part of their quarrel with our government is because we have chosen a sexual orientation which different from theirs.”
