Boda Boda 2010 Patron Abdullah Kitatta is shedding tears once again as he will have to remain on remand for his trial after the General Court Martial today declined to release him on bail, for the second time.

The Seven Member court presided over by Lt Gen Andrew Gutti stated that Kitatta is an influencial person in society who has the capacity to interfere with the ongoing investigations and that his lawyers failed to prove that his sickness could not be treated in Prison; the same reasons used to deny him bail at the first attempt in June.

Charged with being in illegal possession of warfare materials, a monopoly of the armed forces, Kitatta applied for bail on the ground that his health was deteriorating and Makindye Military Barracks where he is detained cannot offer him the specialized treatment that he is badly in need of.

He has thus been sent back on remand at Makindye Military Barracks until 13th/November for further hearing of his case.

However, this second blow left his family and friends very angry, vowing,in tears, never to go back to court.
