The Winner for AFRIMA (All Africa Music Awards) 2018 ‘Best Male East African Artiste’, Moses Sali a.k.a Bebe Cool dedicated his award to Ugandans who perished in Lake Victoria on Saturday when the boat capsized.
Speaking at the awards, Bebe Cool thanked his fans for winning the war and dedicated the award to his young daughter and also to Ugandans who perished in boat accident.
“I dedicate this award beautiful award to young women and men who had gone for a boat cruise and these are are our little sisters and brothers” the Nsirikamu singer said after accepting the award.
So far 30 have been confirmed dead and 27 rescued.
The 2018 AFRIMA Awards took place in Ghanaian capital – Accra and it was Bebe Cool’s first time to win such an award in his 25-year singing career.
