Aruu County Member of Parliament, Odonga Otto is to be transferred from Bishop Ceaser Asili Hospital in Luweero district, to Kampala following a motor accident at Katuugo in Nakasongola District along the Kampala-Gulu Highway, that left him complaining of pain in the legs and chest.
The accident occurred this morning,at around 4am, when his car; a Prado Reg. No. UBA 832S reportedly rammed into a stationery lorry which had earlier overturned in the middle of the road.
The Deputy Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango earlier said plans are on to have the legislator evacuated to Kampala.
“The Parliamentary ambulance is already in the area to evacuate him, but they are still doing some X-rays,” he said.
The 41year old,one of the ‘iron men’ in parliament is also a member of the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party.
