Question: Why are bosses rude to us? -Ronald Kayanja

Well, there is no doubt this question lingers almost on every mind of most employees. Have you ever wondered as well why bosses tend to be rude to their employees? Here is the perfect response from 100.2 Galaxy FM Director Dr Innocent Nahabwe

Well Ronald, sometimes how we are treated is beyond our control but often it isn’t.
I think rudeness is a weakness of character on the side of the manager. Usually rude managers are trying to hide some flaws in their work.

However, sometimes we make it hard to be respected. Respect is earned. You can be treated with dignity if you show professionalism.                                                                No sane manager will shout at you or abuse you out of the blue. If they do, the results will be dire.

People respond more to compliments and positive feedback than to ridicule and rude shaming.

My advice would be that you do your part. Deliver beyond expectation and report all
your achievements regularly. Politely raise your concerns about how you are treated and should the boss continue blasting you, take it on to the relevant authority.

However, before you blame the boss, first ask yourself, have you done anything that might merit the rudeness?
