Police at Central Police Station, Kampala is holding a suspected notorious car robber for allegedly planning to steal a car.
Tumwesigye Gordon 37, a resident of Kawempe division, Kampala district was arrested at Constitutional Square in Kampala yesterday as he tried to steal the motor vehicle reg. No. UAW 317R .
Police revealed, in a statement, that with the help of the CCTV cameras, they were able to capture Tumwesigye who came on a boda-boda and later attempted to open the car that was parked aside. Police says that the suspect later admitted to being a notorious car thief and revealed that he normally takes them to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
