Villagers in Mai Mahiu , Kenya , were terrified after a mother sewed up the mouth of her Class Five son over declining school performance.
A local who spoke on condition of anonymity said the monster woman, a hairdresser, was terribly hurt by her son’s declining grades.
As a punishment, she decided to stitch her son’s mouth using a needle before fellow villagers intervened.
Naivasha sub-county assistant county commissioner Julius Nyaga confirmed the incident, saying police is hunting down the heartless suspect after the school’s administration reported the incident.
He however warned parents against assaulting their young ones, but instead seek professional counseling. He added that stern action will be taken against such offenders.
