Court filled to capacity by mainly Bajjo supporters

Music Promoter Andrew Mukasa also known as Bajjo is before Buganda Road court for formal charges. He has expressed optimism that his lawyers will rescue him.

If my lawyers managed to rescue me from where I was  detained since Saturday, I know they will do the same thing even today at court.” Bajjo was heard whispering

Earlier, his relatives relatives and lawyers had gathered at Nakawa magistrates  court, but after consultations by his lawyer Erias Lukwago and some police officers, it was established that he was to appear before Buganda road court.

Yesterday, Police confirmed they they were considering treason charges against the motor mouthed music Promoter .

Police Spokesman Fred Enanga told journalists in Kampala that Bajjo’s treason charges stemmed from a video in which he was allegedly inciting people to cause an uprising against President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his government.

The video was uploaded on social media pages.

Bajjo was arrested on Saturday, moments after a press conference in which he announced a marathon organized to support Robert Kyagulanyi, the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament.

This was meant to raise money he has lost over a number of failed concerts and children who lost parents during the infamous Arua riots last year.
