The ruling National Resistance movement, NRM , party has vowed to pursue justice for Baker Kasumba, a resident of AVIS KIVULU, Kawempe division, Kampala who was intercepted by two heartless unidentified men who hit him on the head and nailed his hands, crucifying him like Jesus, for supporting president Museveni and his party.

Yesterday, Kasumba who was putting on an NRM beret at the time he was attacked,  told police that he had been warned by some people for supporting the yellow party.

The Kampala police Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango says Kasumba alias Avis Kivulu a resident of Kawempe was allegedly intercepted by two men near the northern bypass flyover.

Onyango says kasumba met his fate while heading home after leaving his work place at Jesco ham shopping Centre at around 10pm.

Gruesome photos of Kasumba went viral on social media yesterday, attracting widespread condemnation, with many calling for more political tolerance. Earlier, the head of the People Power outfit , MP Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine, cautioned his supporters against violent vengeful acts.

Now, NRM party general secretary, Kasule Lumumba visited Kasumba at Mulago hospital this morning and vowed to follow up the matter to dot asides from clearing the hospital bills.
