ARSENAL fans have praised Dani Ceballos for “changing the game” against Tottenham after coming off the bench.
Following his promising performance, supporters slated Unai Emery for not starting the 23-year-old in the North London derby.
The Spaniard has already established himself as a fan favourite since he joined the club on loan from Real Madrid in July.
He received a standing ovation at the Emirates after he created both of Arsenal’s goals during the win over Burnley two weeks ago.
But he was not named to start against Spurs following his underwhelming performance in last week’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Ceballos was eventually introduced in the 63rd minute of the clash to replace Lucas Torreira – which sent fans wild.
One Twitter user said: “That Ceballos energy – I can feel it from my TV.”
Another said: “Ceballos has changed the game here. Honestly can’t believe we have him for the season. Why he didn’t start I have no idea.”
While one claimed: “We owe Ceballos for changing the game in our favour. Should have been on from the start.”
