Katwe United Fc owned by Makindye West member of Parliament Hon. Allan Sewanyana has on Tuesday parted ways with Headcoach Hassan Mubiru on mutual consent.
According to the statement released by the Vice chairman of the club Luyimbaazi Deogracious, partly it reads, the club is highly appreciative of his immense contribution towards positioning Katwe United football club as one of the country’s leading football clubs. We wish him success in his next endeavors.

In the same way, Katwe United has announced the acquisition of experienced coach, Allan Kabonge Kivewala Ponsiano a.k.a Messiah as their new Headcoach.
Kabenge, a CAF ‘C’ licensed coach, comes with a vast experience, having guided over four clubs to being elevated into the country’s top flight.
Luyimbaazi says, in line with the club’s main objective of playing in the Startimes Uganda Premier League next season, Kabonge has been tasked to direct his efforts towards achieving that objective.
Hassan Mubiru has left Katwe United in seventh position with four points out of the three games played so far.
Allan Kabonge will be assisted by coaches Ismael Kintu and Mukasa Mike.
