It was a horrific moment when angry mob pounced on a woman lynching her.
Kyomukama Sarafina a 52 years old businesswoman from Kiyebe cell Kiyebe parish Ruhija sub-county in Rubanda district was butchered on Thursday at her rental house in Kiyebe trading center.
It is alleged that residents stormed her house at about 8:00 am and accused her of being a witch before severely beating and pelting stones at her to death.
The Area residents claim that kyomukama bewitched her brother a one John kamuhanda who died under mysterious circumstances.
Preliminary findings suggest that that the locals held a meeting the previous day and plotted to end kyomukama s life.
Police were notified and rushed to the scene but found kyomukama lying lifeless in a pool of blood. The residents had already fled the scene by the time police arrived.
