The Red Eagles Surrendered a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw with Maroons at Njeru Technical Center.
Express Fc were 2-0 up by 30 minutes after strikes from Frank Kalanda and Frank Ssenyondo but Steven Mukwala’s second half equaliser ensured a draw following Fred Amaku’s goal at the stroke of half time.
Kalanda gave Express the lead in the 15th minute with his 6th goal of the campaign after flawlessly converting from the penalty mark.
Diminutive winger Ssenyindo made it 2-0 in the 29th minute with a tap in from a Disan Galiwango routine low cross.
Just before the half-time break, the Prison Warders pulled one back through Amaku who was the target for the first time in the Maroons colours.
10 minutes into the second stanza, on-form strike Mukwala made it 2-2 from a Caesar Olega assist, Mukwala has now scored six goals since completing a loan move from Vipers at the start of the season.
Maroons are now 5th on the table with 17 points while Express are 9th with 14 points.
