Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB)will commence the distribution of Examination Materials for the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education(UACE) on Saturday 9th November 2019

while briefing the Press on Thursday, Dan Odongo the Uneb Executive Secretary says this is to guarantee that the materials are made available to the various examination centers on time.

Examinations kick off on Monday 11th November 2019 at 9 am, candidates will sit for their history and mathematics papers.

Odongo also noted that Uneb will continue with the security arrangements by employing over 800 scouts and deploying security officers across the country to minimize cases of malpractice since the vice has now become a security threat to Uganda.

The Uneb executive secretary appealed to Headteachers, invigilators, and all stakeholders to act professionally and refrain from involving in any form of Malpractice because it invalidates Certificates and disreputes the Education sector.

Polly Namaye the Deputy mouthpiece for Uganda Police Force said the Police are working with other security organs to nab people that will be caught exchanging fake examination papers.

She added that Police officers are already on the ground and ready to arrest those involved in any forms of Malpractice.

A total of 104,418 candidates are expected to seat their Uneb examinations next week. They will be briefed on Friday.
