URA Fc may be without tricky winger Joachim Ojera, lanky defender Patrick Mbowa and new forward Daniel Isiagi when they host Busoga United in the Startimes Uganda Premier League match-day at Bombo Barracks Ground.
The game will be played at neutral venue as Namboole is being refurbished and kept fresh for Uganda’s AFCON fixture against Malawi on Sunday.
Isiagi who coach Ssimbwa, in a pre-match press conference described as being instrumental in our last games, has been ruled out because of malaria.
Pint-sized Ojera and Mbowa have licensing issues and may miss out if not cleared in time.
The tax collectors who lost their last league encounter 1-0 away to Vipers at Kitende, are 10th in the 16-team log with 14 points.
“We are ready for the task, we have put the vipers loss behind us and our focus is the Friday game. I know we shall do our best and play well that we win”, said Ssimbwa.

“We are not familiar with the ground (Bimbo), this might be their third game for them(Busoga United) there but that can not be an excuse. We are strong and hope to bounce back.”
Busoga’s last game was a 1-1 draw with Maroons at Mighty Arena in Jinja. The result ended Busoga’s three game losing streak but extended their winless run to four games.
Abbey Bogere Kikomeko will be welcoming back Joel Madondo who missed the last two games.
Busoga sit two places above URA and have collected 17 points after 14 games. This will be their last game in the first round.
Shafiq Kagimu bagged a brace as URA beat Busoga, then Kirinya Jinja, 2-0 at Namboole last season.
