Celebrity endorsement is one way of finding out how far an artist has grown as a brand. It is also a yard stick to measure how much trust corporate companies have in a particular musician.
And not only is a huge social media following convincing enough for big brands to avail huge sponsorship packages and associate themselves with celebrities. One needs to represent the true values and objectives of a certain brand or company.
After this simple and precise background we bring to you some celebrities (in no particular order) that have managed to get themselves hefty sponsorship deals in the country
1).Winnie Nwagi
The Swangs Avenue signed star through the help of her business acumen managers Julius kyazze and Benon Mugumbya managed to get one of the respectable Digital pay TV companies, Star times endorse the bootylicious singer as their brand Ambassador. And as if that was not enough Winnie attracted a huge sponsorship deal from one of the oldest football clubs in the country SC Villa.

2).Rema Namakula
The soft spoken beautiful Diva is yet another artist who has managed to attract an array of sponsorship deals to her name in the recent past. Rema’s impressive social media numbers coupled together with her cautious public image have helped the ever decently dressed vocalist to attract hefty endorsement deals from big companies like Itel mobile, Jesa Diary Farm and Qkids.

3).Sheebah Karungi
It is no doubt that the proud ‘Swag mama’ had a fabulous 2016 churning out hit after hit. Despite her erotic personality, big and respectable Telecom companies like Africel couldn’t resist the urge of signing Sheebah as their official brand ambassador. Sources say Sheebah signed a multi-million contract with the data oriented Telecom Company in 2016.

Twos year down the road and Sheebah has added Natna natural hair endorsement to the already hefty Africel sponsorship deal. This particular deal was concluded last week when the queen of the area agreed to put pen on paper.
4).Fik Fameika
He might be a new kid on the block but Fik fameika has already done enough to turn heads and as such big brands in the country have already endorsed the fast rising star. Africel a telecom company whose niche of interest focuses mainly on the young population wasted no time in adding Fik to a host of other artists under their endorsement.

5).Eddy Kenzo
As much as some people want to reduce his success to mere luck, there is no doubt Eddy Kenzo is a force to reckon with when it comes to branding. Trust me his triumph at the BET award didn’t come as the luck of the draw but rather his excellence in branding and being authentic. It is by no mistake that companies like Airtel have signed him on for many years now and of recent the Kenyan tourism board just endorsed Kenzo as the country’s tourism ambassador signing a multimillion bumper cheque.

6).Sheila Gashumba
Surprisingly on air TV personality Sheila Gashumba is minting more money from endorsements than some of our big artists. Am not saying Sheila shouldn’t be earning more than them but honestly some artists need to check themselves. The beautiful twenty something year old is endorsed by of course Africel and Uber an American transportation company.

7).Douglas Lwanga
Another on air TV personality who is minting dimes out of sponsorship is the after 5 NBS TV presenter Douglas Lwanga. The humble dark skinned seasoned presenter is signed to Yuppys,Abryanz and DSTV
