Cops are hunting down notorious thugs who are said to have shot dead a man in an incident of Aggravated Robbery. Nguudo Daniel, 39 was helplessly shot dead in the wee hours of Sunday cold nights in Namwenda, Kamuli district
According to eye witness reports, the deceased was reportedly driving a Premio car registration number UBD 653Q while approaching Namwendwa, when unknown men carrying rifles hijacked his ride and snatched his phone before throwing him out like a sack of potatoes.
In so much fear, Nguudo tried to run away but was shot dead instantly by the merciless thugs.
The cold-blooded thieves then reportedly proceeded to Buyingo zone, where they staged and terrorized other residents, robbing them on gunpoint.
The deceased was a resident of Bulindi zone, Kamuli Namwendwa ward, southern division, Kamuli Municipality, and a civil engineer working with MBW.
The body of the late Nguudo Daniel was taken to Kamuli general hospital mortuary for postmortem as Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
