Uganda National Examinations Board is expected to make public results from the 2019 Primary Leaving Examinations on January 17, 2020.

Jennifer Kalule the UNEB spokesperson says the process will begin on the 16th January with a performance briefing from the UNEB officials to the Education ministers at a yet to be disclosed venue before releasing them on the 17th  January at 11 am.

Janet Museveni the Education and Sports Minister is expected to convey the 2019 PLE results.

According to the UNEB executive secretary Dan Odongo candidates will also access their examination results through mobile phones once they are out.

A total of 695,793 candidates sat for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), 475,852 being UPE-funded.
