Nine Ministers appointed by President Museveni have taken oath on Monday, January 13 at State House, Entebbe.
In December 2019 the President in the exercise of his powers made minor changes to his cabinet and appointed the nine ministers.
They include among others; Rafael Magyezi is the new Minister of Local Government, replacing Tom Butime, Nabakooba, former police spokesperson up to 2015, is the new information minister, replacing Frank Tumwebaze, Beatrice Anywar, the new Environment state minister, Peter Ogwang is now state ministerfor ICT, Denis Obua, the State Minister for Sports, taking charge from Charles Bakabbulindi, Molly Kamukama, the new State Minister for Economic Monitoring, Nabbanja, the new State Minister for Health (General Duties), replacing Sarah Opendi, Helen Adoa, the new state minister for Fisheries
The President who presided over the swearing-in ceremony urged the Ministers to desist from corruption tendencies but serve the country with due diligence.
He also called on the youthful appointees to Cabinet to learn from their older colleagues.
