Over the years, Twinkle Star, a full service Talent Agency has gained core competence in Talent Management and Booking. With the gifted hands of Emma Carlos Mulondo, the outfit has happened to discover, groom and manage award-winning acts like Dream Galz, Coco Finger and Kalifah AgaNaga.
When Emma announced that he had parted ways with Nevaland-based Good Lyfe Crew, it was highly expected that he would bounce back stronger; given his ample experience in the game.
Even though Zil hasn’t been much on the airwaves, he has been in the music industry for quite a while. Born and christened Ronald Nsubuga on 28th November 1992 in Bissanje Masaka, Uganda; the reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter started his musical career as early as 2013, doing underground collaborations and songwriting with artists such as Gravity Omuttujju and Hilderman. He was once a protégé of the former. His singles Sinalya, Terera nkwase, and Ninda ft Hilderman earnee him maiden airplay.
In February 2018 with his single Sawa yakwekwana, he met renowned talent manager Emma Carlos of Twinkle Star Agency and the rest as they say, is history.
Zil is one of those musicians blessed to have acquired an education, going through: Aunt Rachel Primary Masaka; Masaka S.S.S; Kako S.S.S; Arch Bishop Kiwanuka S.S.S Kitovu; Caltec Academy and ultimately Kyambogo Universtiy for a Bachelor in Arts. Well, all we can do is wait for the fire that we anticipate to come out of Zil Zil, and we’ll definitely keep you posted.
