This follows the ever-increasing incidents of children being kidnapped in the presence of their parents or caretakers and asked the public to be aware of the.
In the last two months alone, at least six children have been kidnapped from homes or churches in the company of their parents or housemaids. These incidents occurred in Wakiso, Kireka, and Kyebando.
Last week in Buddo, Wakiso District an 11year old identified as Grace Kayendeke was taken by a male trickster stranger who told the maid that the girl’s parents had sent him to pick her.
On Monday four-month-old Collette was kidnapped in the hands of her parents by a fraudster pretended to be a churchgoer at St Thomas of Aquinas, in Kyebando, Kisalosalo.
Four days earlier, a nine-month-old baby was kidnapped from home after the mother moved out briefly leaving the baby in the company of other children in Nsooba Kyebando.
