It was a dramatic scene to watch on Wednesday afternoon after two men attacked parliament when they jumped from the strangers gallery in parliament to the floor of the august house at about 4 pm.
The dramatic men stirred chaos in the house when they randomly started punching MPS forcing a fistfight as MPs retaliated by fighting back.
The two men who wore red tops have been identified as Dafaala Ssenjako and Mutaasa Kafero both linked to red top brigade movement with the latter calling himself red top commander.
They entered parliament with a letter titled “A letter to Africa and Uganda, stop cropping out citizens,” in which they protest against President, Yoweri Museveni’s regime and Corruption.
Parliament released a statement this afternoon disregarding rumors going on in the media that gunshots were fired on the floor of parliament.

Kadaga says it is an offense for any person to create disturbance, which interrupts parliamentary proceedings. She called on whoever wants to demonstrate against Parliament to use other alternatives like the constitutional square instead of parliament.
A panting Simon Oyet, the Nwoya MP and Sports Minister Hamson Obua who were among the Mps attacked by one of the people and fought back condemned the act and asked for respect of the house.
