The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) officials gathered at the statehouse on Tuesday 25, 2020, for a closed-door meeting to brief the  Education and Sports minister Janet Museveni on the performance of students in the  2019 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).

In attendance was the UNEB Executive Secretary Dan Odongo and UNEB chairperson Prof Mary Okwakol who privately briefed the ministry officials including John Chrysostom Muyingo who is the State Minister for Higher Education, Ms. Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde the State Minister for Primary Education among others.

Details of this meeting have not been divulged although what stays clear is the release of  UACE results on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at the Office the President Conference Hall.

The Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, and Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will release the results at 11 am.

Headteachers will be expected to pick their schools’ results forms and slips later in the day from the headquarters of UNEB in Ntinda.

A total of 104,000 students registered to sit for the 2019 examinations from 1,900 centers.
