A 19-year-old who was sodomized by a Sudanese truck driver has been transferred from Luweero hospital to Mulago National Referral Hospital unconscious.
The Luweero District Police Commander, Abraham Tukundane, says the 19-year- old chapatti vendor got excited after Musab Abashar bought him a few drinks of alcohol and later was lured into sodomy at Mato Guest House on Sunday night.
According to Tukundane, Abashar fled through the fence after realizing how rough he was on the boy but the Guest House manager alerted the Village Defense Secretary and Kasana Police Station, which swung into action and apprehended him.
He says the teenager was rushed to Luweero Hospital where he was admitted in pain.
Tukundane says Abashar was subjected to HIV screening and he tested positive.
He says his victim was immediately put on post-exposure prophylaxis drug to prevent him from contracting HIV.
Tukundane says police have since preferred charges of unnatural offense against the suspect and forwarded his file to the Residence State Attorney for advice.
