The lifeless body of a 45year old man has been discovered hanging on a rope in his house.
Alfred Muhumuza Alias Kibedi a resident of Kasenyi village, Iremera parish Bukimbiri s/c Kisoro district is alleged to have committed suicide because his wife cheated in him with another man.
Neighbors realized the incident on the Thursday 5th /3/2020 during broad daylight when they knocked at his door after not seeing him for a long time only to break down the door to the shocking sight of the deceased hanging on a rope.
Elly maate the kigezi region police spokesperson says police was notified of the incident and visited the scene and said when they checked his pockets, there was a note saying he did so because of the wife’s infidelity.
However, another school of thought suggests that the deceased has a mental disorder that could have contributed to his demise.
The body of the deceased was taken to Kisoro for postmortem.
