Kampala metropolitan police have caged 11 suspects reportedly involved in the act of pelting bottles full of urine and stones at controversial singer Bebe cool whose real name is Moses Ssali while at Cindy’s Boom party concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on Saturday.
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga said this morning while addressing journalists that police managed to apprehend eleven suspects and are currently locked up in police cells enjoying white posho and bad odor from bed bugs.
Enanga said out of the 11 suspects, 5 entered the event with plastic bottles that were meant to target the singer although he was hesitant to point out the motive behind the act.
“We can’t know whether it was for political motives but investigations will tell,” he said.

First son Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, on his tweeter account, criticized the Police for not doing enough to protect the singer during concerts.
In his tweet, the General blamed police and bouncers for allowing what he called hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda’s greatest artists.
“The same hooligans beat up women (on Women’s Day) for simply loving (President) Kaguta Museveni and Bebe Cool,” he said, adding that “We expect a lot better next time from the police.”
