A number of Drivers of cars rotating the streets of Kampala have today met the unrelenting and merciless hands of security officers who will stop at nothing to enforce the presidential directives.
Kampala metropolitan Traffic commander, Norman Musinga and a team of traffic officers have on Thursday morning stormed Ggaba Rd, in Kampala, impounding dozens of cars found without stickers and those with invalid stickers.
Afande says the unspecified number of cars have been packed at Kabalagala until further notice.

Musinga arrived at the scene and stayed briefly, executing his duties while supervising his team working before driving off to another destination.
The traffic officers who were left to proceed with the operation attempted to arrest some of the drivers who unsuccessfully went on their knees begging for their vehicles to be released and later ran way.
Some of the vehicles impounded had old and invalid stickers that were previously distributed by the Ministry of health-MOH, while others were driving without number plates, others didn’t have identification describing their work owing to the valid stickers on their vehicles.

Afande Musinga says this operation was necessary because they have realized that most people are driving cars with forged stickers and that the valid stickers have been sold to people who are are not part of the essential workers.
He warns that those found flouting the presidential directives on COVID-19 will not only have their cars impounded but will be arrested for breaking the law.
