Uganda Police have asked all those whose motorcycle or bicycle were impounded to report to the various police stations across the country and retrieve them.
This follows a directive by the President on Sunday during his national address on COVID-19.
The President ordered that all impounded cycles be handed back to their respective defiant riders as a sign of amnesty
Fred Enanga the police spokesperson during the Joint security taskforce -JSTF presser on Monday asked that riders with immediate effect flood police stations and sign for them.
He also warned that security operatives will deal with those found flouting the new directive of doing business between 6:30 to 5 Pm.

Also at the presser, the spokesperson of the army, Brig. Richard Karemire says security will intensify its operations on the road to curb vehicles being used by non-essential workers.
Karemire says all vehicles captured on the wrong will be impounded till further notice.
