The Ministry of Health will on Monday, April 20 discharge 10 more people that have fully recovered from COVID -19 bringing the number of recoveries to 38 out of the 55 confirmed cases in Uganda.
They discharged are from Entebbe Grade B hospital.
This means that the 17 number of active cases now stands at 17 .
Among the recovered are five Watoto choir members, three of their caretakers and the boda boda man who had been admitted with COVID-19, according to reports.
Uganda on Sunday, April 19 discharged six more patients including a baby who has recovered from COVID-19 after treatment.
15 patients were early this week discharged from Mulago National Referral Hospital in the capital Kampala, Two from Entebbe Grade B and one from Hoima Regional Referral Hospital in the western part of the country.
Health Minister Dr. Jane Aceng has appealed to all of Ugandans who live along the roads followed by the truck drivers including the women who interact with them for different purposes to stay away from these truck drivers.
