Police FC 1-2 Vipers SC

Duncan Sseninde and Mzee Sserunkuma have struggled to find space in the Vipers SC set up after the sacking of Mexican Javier Martinez Espinoza.

The attacking pair Sseninde and Mzee have not played a part in the club’s title-crashing results against URA FC at St Marys Stadium, Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium and KCCA FC at Lugogo where they managed only two points.

The three games dealt Vipers SC their biggest blow when they had KCCA FC within their eyes. Sseninde who had a hand in Rahmat Ssenfuka’s goal with a brilliant curling assist in the 58th minute.

The pint sized attacking midfielder made Vipers SC look dangerous on setpieces and had a corner kick tipped away by police goalie Davis Mutebi.

His running on Tuesday afternoon at Star Times Stadium at Lugogo illustrated what Vipers SC missed with him out of the team’s attack.

Michael Ouma, Vipers SC Kenyan will have realised why he almost had his hand on the title but blew it away by sheer miscalculation on his part.

Mzee Sserunkuma is the other star that suffered under the new Vipers SC management who preferred Brian Nkuubi ahead of him.

It was also evident that the former Gor Mahia striker only needed a chances to Nkuubi’s numerous to hit the back of the net.

And so he did with the easiest of tap aways when he had himself well positioned in the opposition goal area.

The other returning forward is Tito Okello, a avery lively forward who gives Vipers SC pace going forward too displayed he was dearly missed after impressing in the team’s attack.
