Liverpool have put a planned move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner on hold amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Reds, who have long been linked with a move for the German international, are delaying any transfer business at present.

The report States that, due to the crisis, Liverpool have put all contract negotiations and recruitment plans on hold.

The release clause has to be activated this month, meaning it is likely that the Bundesliga side will now be able to command a higher figure for the services of their 28 goal striker.
