Ugandans finally heard what they had been worried about during the trying corona-virus lock down.
Kampala and neighbouring towns house over three million people who are mainly renting.
President Museveni who was addressing the nation at State House in Kampala on the covid19; advised landlords to relax their terms during the pandemic period.
The President said: “Landlords trying to evict people for not paying rent, this should not be allowed. They should contribute.”
He added: “The world is not ending, the shutdown is for a limited period, it will end. Let us be strict implementing all the guidelines after 30 days since we started.”
