They are our heroes and heroines and we can’t thank them enough.

Mulago Hospital has joined Adjumani Hospital and Entebbe Grade B Hospitals to discharge corona virus patients.

The number of corona virus patients discharged is now at 8 with 3 from Entebbe Grade B and one from Adjumani Hospital.

The Health Minister Dr. Ruth Jane Aceng led the cheers by posting a picture of medics dancing after doing a great job with the patients.

Aceng took to her twitter handle to hail: “Exciting news from Mulago Hospital today! 4 patients have fully recovered and tested negative twice for COVID-19 and have been discharged.”

She hailed: “Thank you our health workers. You are my heroes every day. Keep up the spirit. Indeed, we shall sing Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.”

Uganda has 55 confirmed cases who under medication in various hospitals in the country. The latest case is a long distance truck driver from Kenya.

President Yoweri Museveni has continued to put the country under shut down with public transport, markats and borders all shut.
