6 patients fully recovered and tested negative twice according to ministry of health.
The ministry of health Sunday afternoon discharged 6 patients from Mulago National Specialized Hospital.
The ministry confirmed the development on their official Twitter account.
They posted: “Today, 6 patients have been discharged from Mulago National Specialised Hospital after testing NEGATIVE twice for COVID-19. Total COVID-19 recoveries now stand at 28 in #Uganda.”
Uganda is yet to register a fatality and the positive cases stand at 55 as President Yoweri Museveni returns to the screens and radios to address the nation.
President Museveni confirmed: “Tonight, at 8pm, I will address the country, giving an update on our fight against COVID-19. I urge you all to continue observing the guidelines given by the government and health officials. Stay home and stay safe.”
