It seems that the hype that came with “Utawezana” will not die as Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has decided to join in.
For those who can’t remember, the song gained traction after Tik Tok star Azziad Nasenya danced along to its catchy lyrics in a widely circulating video that took the internet by storm.
After her viral video, many others tried to capitalize on the popularity of the song boosting it to heights it most likely wouldn’t have reached without Azziad’s rendition.
And it has now crossed the Kenyan border to Zari – who lives in South Africa at the moment. Posting on her Instagram stories, the mother of five shared a video of herself singing to the Kenyan song.
Appreciating the jam, the mother of 5 was singing along with the beats and more specifically the viral verse of the song and seemed to be digging it.
An excited Femi One (who collaborated on the song with Mejja) could not hide the joy sharing the video from Diamond’s baby mama. “@zarithebosslady jamming to Utawezana. Keep watching the video,” she wrote.
Responding to the singer, the Ugandan beauty admitted she was in love with the song. “Gotta love this track,” responded Mama Tiffah. Look at the back and forth between the two and some of their fans below:
