The package included 300kgs of Maize flour, 300kgs of rice and 300kgs of beans, meant for 30 players.

It is understood that each player received 10kgs of each of the three food items.

A couple of club officials were also facilitated to help them push up with life in this continued lockdown.

Express Chief Executive (CEO) Hamzah Jjunju expressed his gratitude for the food offered at such a time when the entire country is engulfed in a lockdown created by the deadly coronavirus disease.

Previously, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) donated rice to all the Uganda Premier League teams, FUFA Big League, FUFA Women Elite and FUFA Women Super League Clubs.
