Police in Mpigi district has thrown into custody a 24year old Man accused of defiling a 16-year-old girl and infecting her with HIV.
Buyongo Ronald a resident of Buwama local council 1, in Buwama sub-county reportedly lured the Juvenile a resident of the same village to a catholic Church and had unsafe sex with her.
Fred Enanga the police mouthpiece says Buyongo and the girl kept visiting the church for the next six days after that for the sinful expedition.
Enanga says the Juvenile soon started presenting with signs of pregnancy and was confirmed positive after she was taken for tests by her parents.
It is then that she revealed the father to her unborn child.
Enanga says Buyongo and the victim were both subjected to an HIV test which turned out positive.
Buyongo will be charged with aggravated defilement once investigations are complete.
