Vipers Sc is so close to sign Mbarara City striker Brian Aheebwa.

Aheebwa almost joined Mike Mutebi’s side but finances seem not to be available on the team due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is good news to the Vipers coach Fred Kajoba as his competitors are almost loosing the battle to sign the Mbarara City player.

Brian Aheebwa’s contract with the Ankole Lions expired and the striker will look for greener pastures elsewhere in the top flight league.

The forward is one of the most established and exciting players in the UPL after netting in eight goals in the just concluded season.

Aheebwa is a former player for Nyamityobola Fc and apparently is the all-time top scorer for Mbarara City Fc.

Vipers have already signed left-back Disan Galiwango from Express Fc and Ibrahim Orit from Mbarara City Fc.
