Obuya has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at Lugogo until 2023 but renewable depending on the level of football he will deliver.

The midfielder leaves Luzira based side as a free agent after his contract expired at the end of last season.

Obuya joins new recruits at KCCA Fc who include Ashraf ‘Fadiga’ Mugume, Charles ‘Neymar’ Lwanga and Italian midfielder Stefano Mazengo who have been already unveiled by the club.

Uganda Cranes player Denis Iguma has of recent also joined KCCA Fc on a two-year-deal.

Mbarara City’s Brian Aheebwa and Busoga United’s Ismail Mugulusi are also understood to be on KCCA’s rader.

Maroons was relegated from Uganda Premier League after the FA canceled the 2019/20 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
