There is a wave of panic at the National Resistance Movement Secretariat (NRM) after 2 staff members have been confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19.

The shocking announcement has been made on Wednesday by the NRM Secretary-general, Justine Kasule Lumumba.

Lumumba confirmed that the results from the samples were released on Wednesday morning but refused to divulge any other details except for the fact that the 2 patients have been admitted at a yet to be disclosed facility.

Lumumba says they are in talks with the ministry of health officials for the next form of action to be taken.

This news comes just an hour after the President, Yoweri Museveni appeared before the secretariat in Kyadondo for official nomination as the NRM Presidential party flag bearer.
