Sports Club Villa skipper Ambrose Kirya has reportedly signed a one year contract with Jinja based side Bul Football Club after his proposed move to Moses Basena’s Rwandese side Sunrise Fc fell off as the club opted sign Yefesi Mubiru who has been a free agent since leaving Tooro United football club.

The offensive midfielder joined Villa in 2015 from Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos making him the longest serving player on the current Villa squad.

Kirya’s move follows that of goalkeeper Samson Kirya, David Owori, Ibrahim Kibumba, Bashir Mutanda and Charles Lwanga with their center back Moses Kiggundu set to join Sunrise Fc.

This won’t be good news with the 16 times Uganda Premier League champions since Kirya was the leading scorer at the club in the 2019-20 season scoring seven goals for his side.
