A blatant woman has vowed to stage an open protest at Masaka State lodge in Masaka city with her 2 children over a land eviction until president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni intervenes in her matter.

Immaculate Nyonyintono has decided to forcefully seat at the entrance of the State Lodge at Kizungu zone accusing the courts of an unfair court decision to push her off the legitimate land she has occupied for the past 12 years.

Nyonyintono has been fighting with one Frank Takaya over the ownership of the disputed one-acre piece of land in Kyantale village in Kabonera Sub County in Masaka city.

In July 2020, the Masaka Grade One Magistrate, Author Ziraba directed both parties to stay off the land until the court deals with the situation.

However, Nyonyintono who feels more aggrieved says she is tired of sleeping hungry on the streets yet the crops she planted on the 1-acre piece of land are rotting away untended to.

She accuses Takaya of conniving with the police and court to influence the unfair decision to kick her out of the land.

However, efforts to convince the mother of two have since hit a snag as she has refused to leave the state lodge until President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni comes to her rescue.

Masaka Resident District Commissioner, Herman Ssentongo is currently convincing Nyonyintono to leave the state lodge while they help her to recover her land.
