The directorate of criminal investigations CID will have summoned the president of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, to appear before them on Tuesday to record his statement on allegations of defying COVID-19 guidelines.

Other politicians include State Minister for Investment Evelyn Anite, former Uganda Revenue Authority –URA Commissioner, Dickson Kateshumbwa, Kayunga District Woman MP Ida Nantaba, and Dr. Charles Ayume, an aspirant for the Koboko Municipality Parliamentary race.

CID Spokesperson Charles Twine says Anite was summoned to appear on Monday morning to record a statement over the rally she held in Kobok but she failed to show up.
