The Federation of Uganda Football Association president Eng. Moses Magogo is one of the sports personalities whon are to contest for member of parliament positions come thhe next elections.

Budiope East Constituency that covers areas of Galiraya, Kakoge, Buyende and Bugaya is currently occupied by Geoffrey Dhamuzungu who won Suleiman Kirunda Balyejusa.

Dhamuzungu who has only led the constituency for only one term has issues with his electorates who feel they have not been served enough and has no plan for the constituency.

As voters looked around for a perfect replacement, a formidable challenger emerged in Eng. Moses Magogo who is also the FUFA head in Mengo.
