Former Buddo SS defender Joseph Benson Ochaya has finally extended his relationship with Congolese giants TP Mazembe for another two years.

This development was confirmed via the club’s official website;

“TP Mazembe is pleased to announce the extension of Joseph Ochaya b Benson’s contract for two more seasons, until September 2022.” Part of the statement on the club official webgsite.

Ochaya joined TP Mazembe on a two year contract and he has gone on to feature 32 times for the club, scoring only two goals and making four assists.

Locally, Ochaya has only featured for Kampala Capital City Authority three times in his career then he has also featured for clubs abroad that include Navibank Sai Gon FC and Asante Kotoko of Ghana.

Ochaya has also played 49 games in the Uganda Cranes jersey thus scoring two goals since making his debut in 2012.
