As the president of Uganda Yoweri Museveni celebrates his 76th birthday today, social media has been awash already with several birthday messages, most of them Congraturatory and others expressing the usual ranting.
However the most notable is that of his wife, Janet Kataha Museveni who took to social media about an hour ago to heap praise on the head of state.
Janet Posted a picture of the two way back in their youth and another of their old age as they toured their Rwakitura farm, hand in hand as she penned down an emotional message.
She describes her husband as a pillar of the family, Uganda, and Africa.
The tweet reads;
Thank you for your unwavering support as the pillar of our family, your enduring love for Uganda, the region and this great continent. May God reward your sacrifice and may He bless you abundantly.
She went on to declare praises for his personal traits that she wraps up in five words.
It Reads;
You are and have always been a torchbearer and you have always done it with wisdom, compassion, wit, and incredible humour. A very blessed 76th Birthday

Gen.Museveni marks 76 years today and has been in power for over 30 years after liberating Uganda and becoming president in 1986.
He is expected to seek re-election in 2021 when the General polls happen.
