An Indian national working in Rukungiri district as an accountant with a plastics company called Blue Nile Distributors Limited has died mysteriously at his home today.
Prior to his death, Mayur Nathu Kashvala, 26yrs reportedly started off his day on Thursday morning alive and well at his workplace in Rukungiri municipality before complaining he was unwell at 12 pm.
Nathu informed his office manager that he was unwell and he was advised to return home and rest while they organize to take him to the Case clinic later this afternoon.
However, Elly Maate the Kigezi region police mouthpiece says Nathu’s colleagues went to his place this afternoon and rushed him to the clinic after they realized he was unconscious, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Maate says police are investigating his sudden death while his lifeless body has been taken to Mbarara Regional Referral hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
Kigezi Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate, says the deceased’s body has been taken to Mbarara Regional Referral hospital for postmortem.
He says they have registered a case of sudden death at Rukungiri police station vide CRB1736/2020.
