Police in Katwe have recorded statements from faded musician and presidential advisor Mark Bugembe alias Buchaman , his wife, counterparts after they were summoned.
This following the video clip that went viral involving Buchaman and his group were seen assaulting another artiste Fred Giriya, aka Rocky giant at his home.
Fred Enanga the police mouthpiece says the group admitted to confronting and battering rocky giant because he reportedly threatened to kill Butchaman’s children although they failed to report a statement to that effect.
Buchaman was however interrogated and later released on police bond
Enanga says Rocky Giant, was invited by the police to open a case of assault against the presidential envoy on ghetto affairs and his alleged accomplices but he reportedly told detectives he wasn’t interested in the government getting involved in the case.
He says Rocky Giant told detectives that he wants alternative justice where his fellow artistes can help reconcile him with Buchaman and his group.
He says detectives are finding it hard to pursue a case when the complainant is unwilling to cooperate with the police.
